What exactly is Venetian plaster?
Venetian plaster describes a popular finish used since ancient times. It refers to a putty used from fired limestone combined marble dust and water to make lime plaster. When that is applied to walls and exposed to air, it turns back into limestone. The product is applied in multiple thin layers creating a marbled look.
Once Venetian plaster is applied, can I have it painted over again in the future?
Yes. We know that tastes or decor are bound to eventually change. While most clients are in love with their plaster, if you decide later that you would prefer a different color or finish, this can be done.
